Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-20 · dl.oliprok.sk

Short version: no account, no analytics, no profile. Downloaded files are deleted from the server as soon as they reach you, and the links you paste are not stored in any database.

1. Who is responsible

dl.oliprok.sk is operated as a personal project by the operator of oliprok.sk. For data-protection questions, including any request under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA, write to legal@oliprok.sk.

2. What we process

2.1 Data you provide

The only thing you submit is the URL of a public video and, optionally, clip timestamps and subtitle preferences. That URL is held in memory for the lifetime of the job and used for nothing else. It is not written to a database, not sold, not shared and not used to build any profile.

2.2 Server logs

Like any web server, ours records short-lived operational entries: timestamp, IP address, requested path, status code, user agent, and error text when a job fails. They exist for security, abuse prevention, rate limiting and debugging — the legal basis under the GDPR is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in keeping the service available and unabused. They are rotated automatically and are not used for advertising or profiling.

2.3 Downloaded media — no retention

The requested file is fetched to a temporary working directory, merged if needed, streamed to your browser and then deleted. Temporary files are also swept on a timer and on restart. We keep no copies, no cache and no archive of any video, audio or subtitle file you download, and no library of what was downloaded.

2.4 In your browser

Your download history (“Recent Downloads”) is stored in LocalStorage on your own device and is never transmitted to us. The full inventory of browser storage is in the Cookie Policy.

3. Third parties

Aside from these processors, no personal data is sold or shared. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

4. Retention

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know, to delete, to correct, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

In practice we hold almost nothing that identifies you: with no account and no stored URLs, an access or erasure request can usually only concern a log entry, which requires you to tell us the approximate time and IP address. Requests go to legal@oliprok.sk.

6. Children

The service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly process their data.

7. International transfers & security

Infrastructure and ad partners may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the transfer mechanisms those providers put in place. All traffic is served over HTTPS; requests to internal and private network addresses are blocked at the application layer.

8. Changes

Material changes are reflected here and in the date at the top of the page.
