Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-20 · dl.oliprok.sk
By using dl.oliprok.sk you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What the service is
dl.oliprok.sk is a free, ad-supported web tool that retrieves a publicly accessible media file from a URL you provide and streams it back to your browser. It is provided as a personal project, “as is”, with no service-level commitment and no guarantee of availability.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the service only for lawful purposes and only for content you are entitled to download. You agree not to:
- download material you do not own and have no licence, permission or legal exception to copy;
- circumvent, or ask the service to circumvent, any technological protection measure, paywall, DRM, private-account restriction or geographic restriction;
- use the service to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
- submit content that is unlawful where you are, including child sexual abuse material, which is reported to the competent authorities without exception;
- automate, scrape, resell, mirror or embed the service, or run it through scripts, bots or bulk queues;
- attempt to access non-public endpoints, probe internal network addresses, or otherwise interfere with the infrastructure or with other users’ jobs;
- remove, obscure or automatically click the advertising that funds the service.
3. Personal, non-commercial use
The service is offered for personal, non-commercial use only. Commercial use, redistribution of downloaded files, and integration into another product or service are not permitted without prior written permission.
4. Rate limits and fair use
To keep a single small server available to everyone, the following limits apply and may change without notice:
- per-IP request rate limiting on the analyse and download endpoints;
- a small number of concurrent conversion jobs across the whole service — beyond that, requests are
refused with
503and should be retried later; - a maximum output resolution of 1080p and a cap on clip length and file size;
- a bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) before a job starts.
Deliberately working around these limits — rotating addresses, parallel automation, distributed requests — is a breach of these terms.
5. Copyright is your responsibility
We do not host, index, catalogue or curate any media. You choose the URL; you are solely responsible for confirming that downloading that specific file is lawful for you. Rights holders can report infringing use through the DMCA & copyright page.
6. Advertising
The service is funded by third-party advertising (Adsterra), including banner units, a native unit and an interstitial shown before a download starts. Ads are not endorsements: transactions with an advertiser are strictly between you and them. Policy pages such as this one carry no advertising.
7. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Downloads may fail, be interrupted, or be unavailable when a source platform changes. No guarantee is made about the accuracy, quality or completeness of any retrieved file.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
Access may be blocked or rate-limited at any time, without notice, for any use that breaches these terms or threatens the stability of the service.
10. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated; the date at the top reflects the last substantive change, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Questions: legal@oliprok.sk.
